Teaching history: Coaching career began in 2006 at the Noble Tennis School, under the mentorship of nationally renowned Director, Tony Roth. Dan has been an integral part of the staff providing a unique perspective of teaching through his fitness background.

Playing history: As a junior in Mexico, Dan trained and competed in local and national Tennis tournaments under the tutelage of his father and coach Jorge Vila. He went on to play soccer at a competitive level as well.
Specialties: Adaptability for lessons to students of all levels. Tennis specific strength and conditioning training. Using new Tennis training aids such as ball-machine & video analysis.
