We say a fond farewell to Executive Director Maria Pierre-Noel, who retired this fall after an incredibly successful twelve years at the helm. Maria is responsible for the continued operation of the NTS in Ottawa. Following the closure of the OAC in 2020, she recognized our critical importance to Ottawa's tennis development structure, and by the spring of 2021 our partnership began. We can also thank Maria for the dramatically improved OTLBC facilities, including the brilliantly removated clubhouse. We will forever appreciate Maria, with her tenacious enthusiasm, long-range vision, human kindness and organizational skill, and we wish her all the best in her new endeavours.
Highlights of 2022 included the continuation of our popular Mighty Mites, Intermediate and Competitive Development Programs, and the inauguration of the U16 Summer Camp. It was great to spend extra time with some of the top players in the region, including master-class students Cole Thurgur and Sebastien Weberpals-Goss, and NTS veterans Arjun Bhatia and Jed Cudney. NTS Director Carlo Zambri did a great job coordinating all the activities, while leading most of them, with great help help from veteran staffers Jeff Mcbride, Julia Tcherkas and James Ferguson. Ben Etheve-Meek was in his element as Camp Leader, with able assistance from Tait Becke and alumnist turned colleague, Dermott Duggan.
We look forward to our continued partnership with the OTLBC in 2023. Working with Claire, Morgan, and the supportive OTLBC Board, we will seek to expand and continually improve what we offer and deliver. Stay tuned for program details coming early in the new year!

All Stars Tennis Camp
This camp is brought to you by the Noble Tennis School, and offered exclusively at the OTLBC! The goal of the All-Stars Camp is to stoke enthusiasm, exposing kids to the joy of playing the game, as they master the rules and develop the sportsmanship, skills, and focus it requires. Maximum of 8 kids per week!
